Boys’ Junior School News
We have consistently talked in our Junior School about the use of candles as a way of celebrating, remembering and for wellbeing. I know that many of boys are lighting their candles at home, and in the class, for a variety of reasons.
Earlier this week, each class lit a candle for the people of Ukraine, and placed it under our TV in the Southwood Centre Social Space, where we have the display at right on the screen. We took the time in our Years 3 to 6 Assembly on Monday to ask the boys to express their feelings about the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Discussing the War helps children process their emotions…and ‘combats’. misinformation.
Grand Prix
Our Boys’ Junior School held their annual Grand Prix event this morning, along with Crazy Hair Day in support of the Leukaemia’s World’s Greatest Shave. Congratulations to all of our students who participated with such energy and enthusiasm.
