On Friday 24th February, the Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students enjoyed taking part in a Yoga Incursion run by School Time Yoga. The boys participated in a variety of activities involving the breath, balance, awareness, focus and relaxation.
This introduction to yoga will be followed up with yoga sessions within our Energy Plus program. The many benefits of yoga include developing body awareness, learning to use their bodies in a healthy way, managing stress (through breathing, awareness, meditation and movement), building concentration, increasing confidence and positive self-image and participating in a non- competitive activity.
