In the second last week of term our Year 9 boys had their third camp of the year. This was a 5 day adventure/expedition that is the culmination of their Outdoor Education experience throughout their Middle Years. The boys had a choice of mountain biking up and around Mt Buller, rock climbing in Mt Arapiles or white water rafting the Mitta Mitta River in East Gippsland. Each camp involved the boys self-catering for the five days, sleeping either in tents or under tarps and also being physically challenged by the general nature of the camps. The outcomes were sensational with many boys (and staff) stating that they were some of the best camps they had been on. It’s a great way to finish their Middle School journey.
