On Friday 4 November the Years 3-6 girls participated in their annual house athletics competition. The weather was perfect for the day and the girls competed well in all events. After the 800m races and field events, the scores were very close between all houses so track events would be vital in determining the overall results. The girls gave their best effort for their houses and their house spirit was evident as there was lots of encouragement and barracking which was fantastic to see.
Overall results were:
1st Cross
2nd Somner
3rd Gordon
4th Watt
5th Mansfield
Congratulations to Cross for winning the house athletics. Well done to all girls for their excellent participation. Thank you to all staff and Danielle Carboon who assisted on the day and to the Year 6 house captains and Year 7 helpers for a fantastic job leading their houses.
