On Friday November 6 the Year 2 boys enjoyed a special Dads and Lads activity evening. The boys enjoyed some time in the Tintern gym with their Dads and Mr Kenny before heading back down to the Hamilton Building for an early BBQ dinner. Then it was off to bowling and laser strike. The competitive streak in a few was evident as those bowling balls zoomed down the alleys and, more often than not, veered off course. It was great to see the boys encouraging each other and offering advice to those of us less skilled! But laser strike was the most fun of all, with the boys (young and old) setting their sights on their targets and relentlessly chasing them down. Our usual school code of ‘be safe, be kind, be fair’ may have been temporarily set aside during this part of the evening! All in all it was a fabulous fun-filled Friday night.
