The Year 10 Outdoor and Environmental Studies students recently complete a 4 day Alpine camp which included an overnight snow camp component. Students were able to put into practice their extensive planning from essential gear required to keep them comfortable in the ‘below zero’ conditions overnight, to identifying differences in flora and fauna in such environments. All students embraced the cross-country lessons and were able to enjoy the absolutely gorgeous views on the alpine trails around Mt Stirling.
