The much anticipated season of the Middle School Girls’ House Football competition has begun, and what an impressive opening round we had. Over 50 Middle School girls have elected to play in the competition with matches taking place at lunchtime. It has been fantastic to see participation across all year levels with some experienced and not so experienced players. The skills have been impressive as we’ve seen the ball be hotly contested, opponents taken on and whopping goals from 40m on the siren. The competition continues for the remainder of Term 1 with the Grand Final taking place on Wednesday 22 March. The ladder sees Gordon/Grant sitting on top with Butterss/Cross, Dann/Watt and Somner/Stewart all within one win of the top spot.
