One of the highlights for Year 12 students, apart of course, from finishing their school studies, is to open their time capsules. These packages are created in the final weeks of Year 7 and include many fond and heart-warming memories of those early days in secondary school. The Year 7 students have been working on their letters to themselves during pastoral time and collecting together the many photographs they have taken during the year. The students are encouraged to include a few significant mementos of their time in the first year of secondary school. For example, there is the Form camp banner, their first pastoral activity – keys to success and the name tags that were made during orientation whilst they were still in Grade 6. These items will be stored in the Community cottage until Term 4 2021.
