We would like to wish alumnus and Southwood Old Boys Association (SOBA) President Ivan Yeung (YG 2005) all the best as he and a team of workmates participate in the Oxfam Trailwalker this weekend. The team, who work for GFM Wealth Advisory, have been training hard for the past six months and have set themselves two ambitious goals – to complete the 100km walk within 30 hours and in the process raise $30,000 for Oxfam.
Oxfam Trailwalker Melbourne, being held Friday 23 to Sunday 25 March 2018, will see teams walk 100kms through Warburton, the Dandenong Ranges and Melbourne’s outer suburbs, aiming to complete the event within 48 hours. Oxfam Trailwalker is not just a tough physical and mental challenge — it’s also a rewarding fundraising challenge. With every step teams take raising money to tackle poverty around the world.
