House Athletics Carnival 2017
Our House Athletics were held on Friday 24 February at Bill Sewart Athletic Track in East Burwood. Once again we were blessed with a mild sunny day and students across all Houses enjoyed an action packed and fun filled carnival. Our mix of traditional and novelty events resulted in a high level of engagement for all our students. The race for House honours was closely contested with only a few points separating places throughout the day. In the end it was Somner/Stewart who prevailed for the second year in a row. Gordon/Grant finished second and Butterss/Cross in third spot. Thanks to all students and staff for their wonderful support and effort on the day!

Lilly, Darcee and Odette represent Tintern Grammar at the recent Ayr Hill Interschools Show Jumping Event
Darcee and Odette McCallum and Lilly Trevorrow all had a wonderful time on Friday 17 February, as they represented Tintern at the Interschool Showjumping Summer Series at Beaconhills College, Ayr Hill. There were approximately 275 riders entered in the competition.
This was Odette’s first show jumping competition. She competed in the Freshman’s class, which starts at 50cm. She completed four clear rounds for the day including the jump off round at 60cm, which is a great effort.
Darcee competed in the Intermediate Class and Lilly competed in the Progressive Class, and both girls had a good day, with Darcee making it into the 1.05 m jump off round.
