A wonderful response to cross country training
A huge thanks to the large number of students who have made a commitment to Cross Country Training in the lead-up to the EISM Cross Country to be held at Ruffey Lake Park, Doncaster on 7th September.
Training is held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7.15am and Wednesday afternoons at 3.45pm and anyone is welcome to attend. On average 45 students have been regularly attending each training session. Breakfast is served poolside after every morning session.
All star selection and series win for Maddie Wright
Congratulations to Maddie Wright (12E) who recently competed in the Australian Women’s U/18 National Indoor Cricket Championships in Dubbo, NSW as a member of the Victorian team. The Victorian team won the series and Maddie received the award for best player in the final. Maddie was also selected in the National All Star Team which is a wonderful achievement.
In September Maddie will be a playing in the Australian U/22 Indoor Cricket Team to play in the Trans-Tasman Series in Port Macquarie. We wish her the best of luck in that series.
