Congratulations to Brady in Year 7 on a very succe

Congratulations to Brady in Year 7 on a very successful weekend at the Victorian Track and Field Championships, held at Lakeside Stadium.

Brady placed first in the shot put, 100m and 400m, making the State team and will now be representing Victoria across these events at the Nationals in April. Brady achieved a PB across all three events and also had to compete in the Under 15 group at the age of 12, an outstanding effort!

This weekend Brady will compete in the discus, long jump and 200m, if he places in the top 2 he will also qualify for the Nationals in those events.

Well done Brady and we wish you the best of luck at the Victorian Track and Field Championships this weekend.

The International Baccalaureate Visual Arts Exhibi

The International Baccalaureate Visual Arts Exhibition is now showing at Glen Eira City Council Gallery until the 28 February. Congratulations to our Class of 2020 IB students Alice Church, Hannah Taylor and Jeremy Yuen-Love on being selected for this exhibition.

The exhibition showcases the unique artistic approaches and varied work produced in the two-year IB Visual Arts programme, featuring contemporary sculpture, photography, ceramics, painting, textiles, drawing, digital media and printmaking. Due to the recent news bans in place by Facebook we are currently experiencing disruptions to our Tintern Grammar Facebook page.

We hope the government and Facebook can resolve the issues in dispute quickly.

Today the Premier announced a lockdown for Victori

Today the Premier announced a lockdown for Victoria from 11.59pm tonight to 11.59pm Wednesday 17 February. As a result, the following will be implemented at the School:

• From Monday 15 February to Wednesday 17 February Prep to Year 12 classes will move to remote learning.
• Our Early Learning Centre will remain open and the program will continue to as normal.
• The Years 10, 11 and 12 camps and conferences scheduled for next week have been postponed, these students will also attend remote learning classes.
• No school activities will occur onsite from the end of school today - production rehearsal and any other scheduled school activities over the weekend will not take place.

Please be assured Tintern is supporting the education of all our students in the absolutely best possible way.

Our Year 7 girls and boys are having a fantastic week at Camp, participating in a wide range of activities, from a sail and snorkelling adventure on the bay, surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, bushwalking, rock-pool rambling, cycling, beach games and team building activities. This week as been a great opportunity for our Year 7’s to connect with their peers.
