This term our boys are participating in an after-school robotics program. These classes are in preparation for the Robo Cup Competition, which they will be competing in on Saturday 28 July. After being placed in groups the boys quickly went about building their robots and progressed to the coding component of the challenge. The room was abuzz with excitement and special mention needs to be made of the assistance provided by Mrs Healey and expert parent Simon who helped with troubleshooting and decoding.
This is a state-wide competition and requires the boys’ robots to perform certain pre-programmed tasks. It will be fascinating to see how they progress.
