As we head towards the end of Term 2 the workload for Year 12 students will once again start to increase. Over the next few weeks students completing VCE will be undertaking SACs for most of their subjects and IB students will be working hard to submit their Extended Essays and Internal Assessments. If they have not already, the students should be working towards developing a study timetable to ensure they are prepared for their upcoming assessments.
The House Music competition is scheduled to take place next Wednesday 30 May and will see the Year 12 students participate in one of their last major House events. It has been most pleasing to see the Year 12 House groups working together to make next week’s final performance an entertaining and memorable one.
Next week marks the halfway point of the year; a significant milestone for our Year 12 students. On Friday 1 June the Year 12 students will mark this occasion by celebrating ‘Hump Day’. The preparations are well underway and it looks to be a great day. It will be an opportunity for all Year 12 students to come together as a group, reflect on the year so far and look forward to the moments and exciting times ahead.
