The Leadership process for Year 11s has officially begun with interested students collecting their applications for Student Leader and House Captain from today. Students are asked to answer the questions as fully and honestly as possible, and to return them either to Mr Kenny or Annie Fairweather no later than Monday 27 August. This deadline is absolute and any nominations received after this date, without legitimate extenuating circumstances, will not be considered.
Leadership within the school community is an excellent opportunity to broaden the skills of our young people, providing them with the experiences and challenges of working within a team to hopefully leave the school in a better place than when they started their tenure. Time management, independence, self-reliance, and confidence are skills that students will benefit from in taking up this challenge.
