This week will be a busy one for the Year 10 students as a number of subjects are finalising assessments for the term. A copy of the presentation by the Semester 1 Medical Science students who attended the Royal Melbourne Hospital program called P.A.R.T.Y (Prevent Alcohol and Risk-related Trauma in Youth) can be found at https://portal.tintern.vic.edu.au/homepage/19634/. The students have a presentation from Vic Roads this Wednesday called ‘Road Smart’ and information will be given to students about the change in pastoral rooms to the Visual Arts Centre while the building works are completed in the Science complex.
Optional METEC Driving Course and Level Two First Aid Course
An email has been sent home outlining two optional activities at the end of the year relating to the METEC driving course on the afternoon and evening of Wednesday 28 November and the follow up day course on Wednesday 5 December. There is also an optional Level 2 First Aid course held at school during the day on Monday 3 December and Tuesday 4 December.
The Year 10s are certainly looking forward to the holidays and I hope that the break is a safe one with time to recharge before the lead up to examinations.
