News from the ELC

We have had a wonderful start to Term 3!

We began our week on Monday, with an In-service day, where all staff participated in interesting and informative professional development programs.

It was great to see the children returning on Tuesday with their wonderful energy, enthusiasm and excitement to reunite with their friends after the holidays.

We have welcomed new friends to each of our classes. We have Rupert in Early Learners, Lucy, Naomi and Marcus in Pre-Prep B, and Taylor in Pre-Prep A. A special welcome to Mrs Licenblat in Pre-Prep A, who is replacing Mrs Wendy Oates while she is on long service leave. Welcome, we know that you will enjoy your time at Tintern.

We have begun planning for our special events this term including our Father’s Night at the ELC and all our special Father’s Day gifts and surprises. The maintenance team have been very busy rejuvenating our garden beds and as a centre, we are planning to plant a variety of veggies into them. Alongside this, we are exploring the themes of Change and Sustainability.

The staff are all busy preparing for the Parent teacher interviews held later this term. This is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the links between home and school.

We are looking forward to a busy and exciting term ahead!
