Tintern Grammar students recently received results from the Australian Mathematics Trust for the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) and from the UNSW, for the Maths ICAS Competition. Distinctions and High Distinctions recipients from both competitions were recognised at Principal’s Assembly on Friday 19 October.
Congratulations to all students for their efforts in these competitions. Particularly Junyi Li in Year 9 who obtained the School Award for Best in School for the Australian Mathematics Competition.

In addition to these fabulous ICAS and AMC results, Year 7 and 8 students who participated in the Mathematics Challenge for Young Australians (MCYA) were also presented with certificates to acknowledge their brilliant effort.
