On Wednesday Mrs Lumsden and myself had our first lunchtime farm visit with 14 boys from Year 2 – 6. The boys had a fantastic time as they met and patted Ollie, one of the farms Maremma sheep dogs, hunted for sheep in the paddocks and patted a soft and downy duckling. They were amazing as they trudged back up the hill in the heat of the day and were thrilled when Mrs Lumsden showed them the special trick to keep cool by dampening your hat with a little water from your drink bottle.
