A very big thank you to alumna and former Tintern teacher, Jodi Evans (YG 2004), who joined us recently on behalf of the Climate Reality Project to talk about the science of climate change and empower our students through facts.
Jodi’s presentation to our Middle School students was part of a larger event called ’24 Hours of Reality’, an initiative of Former Vice President Al Gore, who this year have partnered with One Tree Planted As a nice surprise for our students, at the end of the presentation they were informed that by being part of a ’24 Hours of Reality’ audience, One Tree Planted will plant a tree in Australia for every student in the room. That’s almost 300 trees planted on behalf of the Tintern community!
