After 6 long years of yearning, training and keeping their eyes on the prize, Grant House finally won the 2016 House Swimming Carnival. It didn’t come easy as many great swimmers from each House challenged them to the very end. Butterss individual events gave Grant a big challenge as they won time and time again. However, with team events such as the boat race, cork scramble, boogie board race and others, were all worth double points. This is where Grant brought their team spirit into action and together won many of these events ultimately bringing them victory.
Congratulation to Grant House participants but really a big congratulations to all the boys where they gave their very best. Even some boys volunteered to replace those who were sick or not in attendance in races that were clearly challenging. This shows that so many boys brought team spirit on the day.
Now we wait with anticipation to see which House will achieve winning the House Shield this year.
