A merry group of 14 – 16 girls from Years 3 – 6, have regularly congregated in the courtyard for a brisk stroll down to the farm on Thursday lunchtimes. This Semester the girls were fortunate enough to see many lambs join the flock. They have followed their progress from fragile new borns to very robust lambs, gambolling around in the grassy paddocks. The girls have enjoyed being in the paddocks and have shown keen patience as they have persevered and managed to pat the sheep and lambs. Ollie the Marama guardian dog is always popular with the girls, as are the hens and the eggs they lay.
