Last month, Eve competed in the CLASAX (clarinet and saxophone society) competition and came 1st in the 10 and under and 2nd in the AMEB Grade 6 section. She performed a French piece, Nuits Blanches, at a subsequent prize winner’s concert at Fintona Girls’ School. She recently took part in the Waverly Eisteddfod, competing against over 20 brass and woodwind players, and came 2nd in the 14 years and under. Also, last week she was pleased to receive an A+ for her AMEB Grade 5 Saxophone exam. Eve’s hard work and commitment is certainly paying off! Eve only started playing the saxophone last year and has made incredible progress since she has begun. Congratulations to Eve for some outstanding results!
