In the recent school holidays our Equestrian team

In the recent school holidays our Equestrian team members competed in the Elmore Equestrian Club Interschool Qualifier. 🏇

The 3 students Lilly (Year 12), Mia (Year 8) and Aisha (Year 6) made the 4 hour journey and camped with their parents and horses for the 2 day interschool competition. The girls competed in Dressage, Showjumping and Showing. Leading the competition on Saturday all members of the team were extremely successful individually.

The Tintern team finished 2nd overall with just 2 points separating them from the winning school Horsham College, well done girls!

Our EISM Chess Team recently competed in a Chess tournament at Huntingtower, our team of 17 students ranging from Years 7 to 12, placed 5th and 8th overall. A special mention to Chunting in Year 7 and Gerald in Year 9 who were awarded medals for their spectacular efforts on the day, congratulations! ♟️🏅

Congratulations to Mitchell in Year 12 on recently

Congratulations to Mitchell in Year 12 on recently placing 3rd in the Men's A Division Time Trial of the Bayside Skoda Vic Individual at the ITT Series Eildon. The course was 25km around Eildon and Mitch was just 2 seconds off 2nd place. 👏🚴‍♂️

Congratulations to Skye in Year 9 on an excellent

Congratulations to Skye in Year 9 on an excellent performance at the recent 2021 Alby Dutton Memorial Weightlifting Competition. 🏋️‍♀️

Skye officially broke 3 Victorian U15 records, successfully completing 6/6 lifts and the new records are:

Snatch - 57kg, (12kg above the previous record)

Clean & Jerk - 70kg, (15kg above the previous record)

Total - 127kg, (27kg above the previous record)

Yesterday evening the Premier announced a lockdown

Yesterday evening the Premier announced a lockdown for Victoria commencing from 11.59pm Thursday 15 June to 11.59pm Tuesday 20 July.

As a result, the following has been implemented at the School:

• From Friday 16 July to Tuesday 20 July Prep to Year 12 classes will move to remote learning.
• Our Early Learning Centre will remain open and the program will continue to as normal.
• The School will remain open to provide supervision for vulnerable students and children of essential workers.
• Before and After School Care will remain open to provide supervision for children of essential workers. Parents need to book through TeamKids.
• Reception hours will be 8:00am to 4:00pm for the period of the lockdown.
