TPG Trivia Night this Saturday – Last chance to book!

This year the TPG are proud to support the Anglicare Missions, providing educational resources to under-resourced schools in the Northern Territory. $5 from every ticket sold goes directly to the assisting these students.

Share with your friends, start arranging your teams and brushing up your trivia. There will be fun new games, a silent auction and many fantastic prizes on offer.

Father’s Day Stall and Wrapping Day

Our Father’s Day stall will be held on Wednesday 29 August from 8.30am to 1.30pm in the Southwood Centre.

Gifts will range in price from $3 – $15.

A gift wrapping day is being held on Wednesday 22 August at Kennedy Cottage 8.30am – onwards.

We would love some help on the day of the Stalls and the Gift wrapping day.

FOYF Spring Celebration 2018 – Book your ticket now!

Our Friends of Young Farmers (FOYF) warmly invite you to the Tintern Farm on Friday 31 August from 3.30pm – 7pm for our Annual Spring Celebration.

Come along and see our lambs, enjoy a complimentary sausage sizzle and toast a marshmallow on the bonfire.

Our Young Farmers will be on hand to give you a tour of the farm and there will be raffles and farm snacks to purchase and support our FOYF group.

The Tintern Grammar Fair Committee is offering a $50 Cash Prize for the student who designs the best logo for the 2019 Tintern Grammar Fair.

All students are invited and encouraged to submit their logo design(s). The closing date for the competition is Friday 31 August 2018.

The hand-drawn or computer generated logo should be eye-catching, uncluttered, and must include the following information:

The words “Tintern Grammar” and “Fair

The date “30 March 2019

Keep in mind the logo will be printed various sizes from as small as 3cm diameter to as large as 20cm diameter, so scalability of design will be a consideration.

Designs should be submitted to the Fair Committee:

  • With File Format JPG, PNG or BMP
  • In a CIRCULAR shape
  • Of Approximate Resolution 1000x1000pixels
  • Sent by Email to fair@tintern.vic.edu.au
  • Please include Student Name & Year Level with your submission

By no later than 3pm on Friday 31 August 2018

The winner will be selected at a Tintern Grammar Fair Committee Meeting in early September.

Community Event – Oaks Day at Yarra Glen Races!

Celebrate Oaks Day with our community at the Yarra Glen Races. This event is open to friends and family from our parent, past parent and past student communities. 

Dress to impress and watch the races from the Tintern Grammar Marquee whilst enjoying a complimentary drink and canapés on arrival. Oaks Day is more than just the races with Eastland Fashions and live music all day.

WHEN: Thursday 8 November 2018 at 12:00pm

LOCATION: Yarra Glen Racecourse, Armstrong Grove, Yarra Glen, Victoria

COST: $35 per person
This includes race day admission, drink and canapés on arrival.

Volunteers Needed – 2019 Giant Fair

  

Would you like to get involved in the Tintern Grammar 2019 Giant Fair? Come along to our next meeting on Tuesday 4 September, 7.30pm at Kennedy Cottage.

The Tintern Giant Fair is an incredible, fun-filled day out for families and our wider community to enjoy great food, entertainment, second-hand sales and exciting rides. It raises funds that contribute to many different programs in the school, including sustainability, which enriches every student’s educational experience.

The Fair is also an opportunity for you to become part of the dynamic team of individuals who plan the Fair and create the fun for our community. 

Do you have any new ideas that could make our next Fair an even bigger success than before? Do you want to meet other parents and families? Then please get in touch to assist with any of the following:
