 2016 Parents Welcome

Friday 19 February – New Community Hub (weather permitting)

Community hub photo

Please join with the Principal, Mr Bradley Fry along with members of the Tintern Grammar Executive and volunteers from our Parent community groups for nibbles and drinks. It would be terrific to see you, whether yours is a new or current family. This evening is an excellent opportunity to meet other parents in your child’s year level; chat with Heads of School and find out more about the diverse community groups we have at Tintern.

Volunteers are an integral part of our Tintern Community and we value their involvement as a whole School. Over the years our community groups have initiated and undertaken many outstanding projects which complement and enhance your child’s experience at Tintern. Some of these projects include our Biennial Fair, Movie Under the Stars and raising the funds for the purchase of a new Grand Piano.

During the evening, there will also be an opportunity to meet the 2015 School Captains and listen to their school experiences. You will also be treated to a selection of musical performances from a number of our very talented Musicians.

Tintern Grammar parent and special interest groups

Tintern Grammar has parent and special interest groups who are all recruiting now for 2016. Events planned for Semester 1 include: our Biennial Movies Under the Stars, Victorian Horse Trials, Jazz Night and Mother’s Day stalls. These events provide our community opportunities to socialise and feel part of the Tintern Grammar family. Some events fundraise for specific projects while others enhance our community connections. If you would like to be involved in the planning and coordinating of any of these activities, please call the Community Relations office. These events are all run by parent volunteers and would not take place without your vital contribution.

All Welcome!
