If you had one word you could spread as your legacy what would it be?

At our Valedictory Service held on Tuesday this week, I asked a rhetorical question of the students (ELC – Year 12) present, that if they had one word they could spread as their legacy what would it be. This was in response to my reflection on the man, Arthur Stace, who during his life wrote the word ‘eternity’ in chalk over the pavements of Sydney more than half a million times.

It was in response to my question that a Year 1 put her hand up. I was not able to stop and ask what her word would be but enquired after the service. And the word this young girl of Year 1 had chosen? ‘Integrity’.
