We have had a very smooth and enjoyable start to Term 4 in the Boys’ Junior School. There is nothing like routine and calmness to keep excitement at an expected level! In our Welcome Back Assembly, I spoke with the boys about the exciting and action packed Term 4 with engaging classroom learning opportunities right up until the last day…and we also discussed that while there will be exciting and valuable events, indeed it can also be over stimulating, tiring, and emotional, when there is a lot happening. We are using the acronym FLY…have FUN, continue to LEARN (academically, and from others and ourselves…even our mistakes) and Be YOURSELF. The ‘pilots’ of the classes will be supported by those of us in ground crew…and together, we will all be journeying (FLYing) through Term 4 with a smooth, turbulence free ride!
French Day
Thursday 17 October was a fun day in our Junior School as we joined together in a very French way to celebrate our French Day, complementing the class learning that occurs in this subject.
Thank you to Madame Ley for organising this fun event and to the Compass Café for providing . French menu items for the day.
