Congratulations to Mitch M (Year 12) who recently

Congratulations to Mitch M (Year 12) who recently competed at the 2021 Elite and U19 Cycling Championships in Brisbane. Mitch rode consistently throughout the event competing in the Points Race, Scratch Race, Omnium, Madison and Individual Pursuit. Mitch represented the Victorian team, which was named the winner of the event, well done Mitch. 👏🚴‍♂️🏆

Today we had our second World's Greatest Shave eve

Today we had our second World's Greatest Shave event this term to support the Leukaemia Foundation. 💇‍♀️💇‍♂️

We would like to make a special mention to the fundraising team and brave participants James G (Year 9), Adam C (Year 12), Zoe L (Year 9), Tony M (Year 9), Charlie C (Year 8), Alex F (Year 8), Katie H (Year 9), Ben W (Year 7), Kevin T (Year 9) and Mr Trollope. The team have raised a combined total of $1675.50, an amazing effort!

A big thank you to Chris and Lisa at the The Head Shed for being our wonderful hairdressers.

Our Prep to Year 2 girls took part in an Easter eg

Our Prep to Year 2 girls took part in an Easter egg hunt at Cheong Park this week, it was well attended across all year levels and the girls showed great Tintern spirit as they helped each other find the eggs. Thank you to our Parent Representatives for organising this special event! 🐰🥚🍫

Congratulations to alumna Fiona Lake (YG 1979) for recently winning the Education and Safety Award at the 2021 Australian Association for Unmanned Systems (AAUS) Industry Champion Awards Gala. The AAUS focuses on facilitating awareness, integration and collaboration between industry, academia, government and defence.

Fiona (Rural Drone Academy) was the 2021 award winner for her dedicated work in educating rural residents on the safe and practical use of drones in the performance of agricultural applications. The Rural Drone Academy is the only interstate-visiting rural/remote drone education service available in Australia.
