Alicia Cornwell (YG 1981)

Congratulations to alumna Alicia Cornwell (YG 1981) on her current exhibition at Wyreena Community Arts Centre in Croydon. Alicia is a local artist specialising in oil painting – particularly contemporary realism. Her work demonstrates a love of vintage and florals with an eye for detail and an appreciation for the depth of glazes. Alicia paints items that catch her eye, incorporating the beauty of both natural and man-made design. She incorporates things of old which are offset by the colour and light of nature from her mountain garden. Nothing makes Alicia happier than exploring the colours of a flower with her paint brush and matching her antique and vintage collections together.

View Alicia Cornwell’s exhibition from now until the Saturday 25 January 2020 at the Wyreena Community Arts Centre, Arts Lounge, at 13-23 Hull Road, Croydon. Find out more here: http://www.maroondah.vic.gov.au/…/Ev…/Arts-Lounge-Exhibition
