This term the Year 2 students are exploring the History of Communication as their Integrated Studies unit.
Among other things we have looked at the history of the telephone, computers, typewriters, sign language, semaphore, braille, music, song, and storytelling as forms of communication.
We were very fortunate to visit Healesville Sanctuary as a part of this unit, exploring and consolidating learning of Aboriginal culture, connection to the environment and the Dreamtime.
