Boys’ Junior School News

In our Welcome Back Assembly on Tuesday we continued our SHINE theme, this time talking about torches. We mentioned that when a torch isn’t working, rather than throw it away, we change the batteries. When a person makes a bad choice or finds themselves in a dark place…we can provide them with the batteries they need. Some need AA…affection, attention; some need AAA…affection, attention, acceptance; some need C…compassion; and some need D…direction; “…and if they still don’t seem to shine, just sit with them quietly and share your light.”

With so many wonderful special events planned for Term 3, with so many opportunities for our boys to SHINE in different ways, we want every boy to know that in our Junior School, we are all here to provide them with new batteries and/or light.

We are delighted to be able to present our Boys’ Junior School production of The Amazing Adventures of Superstan this Thursday, after our boys have shown months of terrific commitment and confidence. The show is an energised, rollicking performance that features all of our prep-Year 6 boys.
