Green Team Clean up Australia Day Event
On Sunday 28 February, around 80 members of the Tintern Community took part in the Green Team’s third annual Clean Up Australia Day Event. This number included students from years prep to Year 12, Junior school parents, and teachers from senior school. Student groups were divided into year levels and assigned an area around the school. Clean up areas included the East Ringwood shopping strip, the train station and along the railway lines, and the streets in the immediate vicinity of the school. Thanks to the efforts of this committed group of people, the area around Tintern Grammar is now a much cleaner environment. The event was ably managed by the Green Team Captains and we offer our sincere thanks to the teachers, Mrs Diane Grochowska, Mrs Anthea Watkins, Ms Vanessa Rich, Ms Nancy Li, Reverend Alison Andrew, Ms Emma Lowing and Mr Trollope for giving up their Sunday morning to help supervise the students.
