As we enter the final fortnight of Term 3, the Year 12s continue to work towards the completion of their assessment tasks for the semester, with the “light at the end of the tunnel” becoming clearer.
Rehearsals for Celebration Evening are in full swing, with the whole secondary school attending weekly mass singing practices; the next session being at 8.30am on Wednesday 13 September in the CM Wood Centre – attendance is compulsory for all students.
The Year 12s are also completing preparations for their Leaving Song, Valedictory Book and their “hoodie”. Families are encouraged to check their e-mails to ensure that they are aware of the return dates of a number of Forms associated with these matters and, most particularly, for the Year 12 Valedictory Dinner which is being held on Friday 24 November at Leonda in Hawthorn.
Year 12 families are also encouraged to attend the final Prep to Year 12 Girls’ Assembly on Tuesday 17 October from 8.40 to 9.30am in the CM Wood Centre. The Boys Prep to Year 12 Assembly will be held on Friday 20 October from 8.40 to 9.30am, again in the CM Wood Centre.
